Spend time in our little Welsh hideaway by the sea
Cuan Na Mara is our static caravan on the edge of a nature reserve in Ynyslas, Ceredigion
Cuan na Mara — Haven of the Sea
Hello friends & family, welcome to our little hideaway — where time slows down and spaces open. Our caravan sits, surrounded by the Welsh mountains, on the corner of a beautiful nature reserve, which connects you, via dunes and salt marshes, to a wide sandy beach on the Irish Sea.
Close by, the charming little village of Borth offers all you need: a nice pub that backs on to the beach, dog-friendly cafes, a great Indian restaurant and take-away, a (dog-friendly!) boutique cinema and restaurant (locally sourced, seasonal food), and two small shops.
Hikers and more casual walkers can enjoy incredible diverse landscapes: explore the stunning Snowdonia National Park, the expanse of the Dyfi estuary, or some of the many beautiful trails on your doorstep.
You can also hop a local train or bus into the nearby university town of Aberystwyth, for craft beer bottle shops and bars, an excellent fishmonger, a butcher, the Bookshop-by-the-Sea and many great restaurants to chose from, including the a Michelin-stared SY23.
Settle in, disconnect, and explore the beautiful surroundings.
